(The Center Square) – Antisemitism continues to be prosecuted in Georgia as antisemitism continues to escalate nationwide. The latest prosecution is of a Texas resident who allegedly threatened to kill Jews working at an Atlanta-based company, Flock Safety.
Jordan Nicholas Hadley, 31, of Houston, was charged in connection to a voicemail message stating Flock Safety owners and employees are “a bunch of Jewish fa—-s who are breaking the Constitution.” He also is accused of threatening them by saying, “Film me and see what f—ing happens. I’ll find you and I’ll f—ing kill you.”
Hadley’s arrest comes after a multi law enforcement agency investigation led to the arrest and prosecution of teenagers in North Carolina and Texas on charges of conspiracy to commit murder in an alleged plan that involved driving into a synagogue and school in Houston to “kill as many Jews as possible,” The Center Square reported.
The arrests continue after last year was the third most violent year on record for American Jews, according to an analysis by the Anti-Defamation League. Although antisemitic incidents of harassment and vandalism significantly decreased last year from record highs in 2023 and 2024, physical assaults against Jews were the highest on record since ADL began tracking antisemitic incidents in 1979, The Center Square reported.
Hadley is the fourth man to face federal prosecution in the Northern District of Georgia in the last 12 months on accusations of making antisemitic threats online or by phone. If convicted, they each face up to five years in prison for transmitting threatening communications through means of interstate or foreign commerce. One in Georgia has pleaded guilty; his sentencing is scheduled this week.
“These men allegedly spewed vile hate and threatened violent attacks against Jews,” U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia Theodore Hertzberg said. “Threats against any person based on his or her religious beliefs will not be tolerated, and these charges reflect my office’s commitment to working with law enforcement partners to combat the pernicious evil of antisemitism and hold accountable anyone who threatens members of our community.”
The other arrests include Aaron John Sasser of Finksburg, Maryland, Christopher Robertson of Fairburn, Georgia, and Matthew Alan Souza of Acworth, Georgia. They are all U.S. citizens.
Sasser is accused of sending graphic threats to specific Atlanta-based PrizePicks employees through the company’s chat messaging system, according to the criminal complaint. The complaint alleges the messages state, “You better leave town because I’m driving down to Atlanta to blow up the PrizePicks headquarters and then I’ll head to your house, tie you up and rape your wife in front of you. Then, I’ll dismember the both of you before heading off to [Jewish PrizePicks employee’s] place. I’m gonna have fun tying up [his] Zionist wife. Before that though, I’m gonna cut [his] eyelids off. So he’s forced to watch. Then I’m gonna blow his f–king body up in the name of Palestine because he’s a Zionist piece of s–t and every last one of them are going to die.”
Robertson has a history of trespassing on Jewish organizations’ properties and making threats, according to a criminal complaint that led to his indictment. In one instance, he stood accused of trespassing on Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta’s Midtown Atlanta property and making demands as “the official spokesperson for the white race,” according to a criminal complaint
He also used several social media accounts to post antisemitic and threatening videos before and immediately after these incidents, according to the complaint.
In one video, he says, according to the complaint, “Hey, f–k the Jews, f–k you if you Jewish. Hey, one shot, two shot, three shot, leave you in the sewage.”
Robertson was indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of communicating interstate threats. He’s been detained since his initial arrest; his charges remain pending.
Souza was arrested and charged after prosecutors said he posted on X: “I just want more Jews dead / The more Jew lives I take / The better a place the world can be / Death to the Jewish people.” He also posted, according to the complaint: “Death to every Jew breathing / I can’t wait for the war of America against Israel / The day I snipe a Jew will put a huge smile on my face.”
He also remains detained. Last month, he pleaded guilty to two counts of communicating interstate threats. His sentencing is scheduled this week.
The FBI-Atlanta led investigations in all cases.
